A thin, transparent cotton muslin, to which the Persian figurative name of " evening dew " is given, because when spread over the bleaching field, it was scarcely distinguishable from the dew on the grass. Made 36-in. X 20 yards, 10 to 13-oz. in weight, and from 700 to 1,300 warp threads in the width.
